Dr. Kalman made me a new partial plate and I am extremely happy
with them. The procedure was painless and my new teeth look and feel
great. From the first time they were placed in my mouth they have been
comfortable.

To whom it may concern,
I, (elder) W. Garrett Myler, have recently finished a series of
procedures done by Dr. Les Kalman including a root canal, fillings,
and a crown on my second to last molar.
After inspection and X-rays, I was informed that a cavity on the
tooth in question had damaged the tooth too close to the root, and a
root canal was recommended. Before the procedure I was thoroughly informed
by Dr. Kalman of the risks and advantages of both doing the procedure
and the other options (including not doing the procedure at all), as
well as the manner in which the suggested treatment (namely, the root
canal) would be performed. After being educated of all of my options
and their details, I felt completely comfortable with my decision to
undergo the treatment suggested by Dr. Kalman.
I have a very high tolerance for pain, and after telling my friends
I was going to have a root canal and listening to their comments and
reactions, I anticipated that I would need every ounce of "tough
guy manliness" I possessed to endure the procedure. In actuality,
the pain I experienced during the root canal could be best described
as simply an awkward feeling and at brief times, discomfort. A couple
times, unavoidable difficulties arose due to the anatomy of my mouth
(for example the awkward size & shape of one of my roots). With
appropriate skill and instruments, Dr. Kalman talked me through what
he was doing, which was comforting. Also, twice, after certain stages
in the root canal, he took X-rays to ensure everything was good
which
it was. The following procedures involving crowning the tooth were brief
and painless. Immediately after each appointment I was out and about
without any "down time".
I am here in Ontario temporarily, from southern California, and
am seriously contemplating coming back up to Dr. Kalman for additional
(unrelated) dental work due to the positive experience I have had with
him. Dr. Kalman has gained my trust and without reservation I fully
recommend Dr. Les Kalman for all who are in need of dental care in which
he offers his service.
Sincerely,
(Elder) W Garrett Myler

My recent positive experience with the work you did in the placement
of a crown to replace a fractured front tooth lead me to write this
letter of gratitude.
Throughout the course of the treatment plan I was continuously impressed
by the quality of service and attention to detail. You ensured that
I received the best service possible with the application of leading
edge dental treatment and the effective use of the latest advantages
in dental technology. Staying current in this industry is a must as
most of the advances seem to focus on a better experience overall for
the patient.
But I was most impressed with your ability to blend this leading
edge technology with old fashioned patient care. Through the use of
digital technology and knowledgeable staff, I was fully informed and
educated an each step in the process. The use of pictures and displays
help me understand what was being done and why. I felt very much part
of the solution itself and of course, very pleased with the outcome.
You and your staff exemplify the new generation of dentistry. You
are to be congratulated. The enthusiasm, positive attitude, professionalism
and focus on individual care are a refreshing change. Too often today,
dentist seem more interested in pushing patients through a production
line process where individualism is sacrificed in the interest of speed.
I never felt a sense of being rushed.
I would like to compliment you on having the courage to make "change"
a positive experience. You new office reflects your commitment to your
patients.
On behalf of my spouse, family, and myself please extend our sincere
appreciation and thanks to everyone for a job well done.
